In 2008, Louis J. Jean-Louis picked up a small, two-toned desk at a thrift store for a mere $10. His daughter Francisca cleaned and posted the piece for sale online the same day for $95, selling it immediately. From that experience, the Jean-Louis family realized the value of a piece of furniture doesn’t come from its condition – but it stems from its potential.

Born as a hobby of rescuing and reimagining old furniture, JC Vintage buys, refurbishes, and redesigns furniture of all eras, styles, and brands – using meticulous skill and the finest materials.

In 2018, JC Vintage took its one-of-a-kind furniture offering to a wider audience, showcasing its reimagined designs on Facebook Marketplace and Instagram, offering pieces for sale through both platforms as well as Etsy, Craigslist, and OfferUp.

To meet the needs of its varied clientele, JC Vintage also fulfills custom furniture orders and is an authorized distributor of quality paint, sealers, waxes, and other tools for the serious do-it-yourselfer.

While Mr. Jean-Louis speaks French, his daughters are also fluent in Spanish.
